Candy Crush makes me sick (physically!) New visuals are awful!

I cannot believe that anyone could have come up with a worse idea or test feature.

This one is a game breaker that will make me leave Candy Crush. Who are these people coming up with visual effect ideas? @QueenB Perhaps we could have someone inform us on Show and Tell what motivates them to come up with more and more infantile and intrusive visuals.

I mean this, which I have in two of my accounts as from today:

It is A sweeping flashing mess of colour that comes across the gameboard every time we make a good move. It makes me physically sick. There is no way to turn it off (I've checked in accessibility and turned off flashing lights, nothing gets rid of this effect)

I can't stand playing this account. So I finished the episode even though I've got 15 minutes of multiplier left: That's me done here:

Good luck to those trying to catch me here. I won't be playing this account until those visuals are removed!

Anyone with epilepsy beware, those visuals might induce a seizure.

This game is not inclusive. It seems to be aimed at pre school children. How do they get away with this?

Also to quickly answer this question, the number of x2 tokens varies between groups. Some leaderboards don't have tokens, christinewupp's leaderboard has 6 tokens, and mine has 3 tokens.

I don't think I will be able to get used to these visuals. Most changes I can get used to, but this one makes me jump every time. It's disturbing.

(@HM100 this is off topic, so I'm putting it in brackets: the answer to your question is that some accounts get the multipliers in the ice-cream quest, some don't. I have two accounts with a 2x multiplier and one with no multiplier. The soccer event didn't have any.)

I can tolerate the new visuals (already getting used to them), but I can't say the same for anyone else. Even though I usually handle flashy visuals just fine, I initially found these visuals disorienting.

At the very least, an accessibility toggle for less dramatic interjections would be welcome.

I don't have multiplier tokens in my Ice Cream Quest. Did you had multiplier tokens on Soccer Leagues as well or you didn't play during that period.

This feature came into my game this afternoon and I agree this feature needs to be deleted. I, too, think it could cause seizures and it is stressful on eyesight. Also, it seems that you have less control over the candies and they do their own thing. Unfortunately I only play on one device so it looks like I am stuck with this until it disappears.

I totally agree. I just got this today too and it is extremely annoying. I have sound turned off for a reason and I neither want nor need closed captioning. In addition to being annoying, it also covers up what you need to complete the level. I'm sure those already complaining about time taken away from timed boosters will be complaining about it

I have those visuals effect in the main game. It's horrible. The 60 weekly levels will be even harder to play.
