Have a onetime Candy Crush Saga tournament for King employees

In order for King to make improvements to the game, they need to understand what their players are experiencing. I suggest they hold a one time tournament for all employees working on Candy Crush Saga including upper management and those in charge of making the decisions. The prize should be something worth trying to win, such as a bonus or a day off. Everyone would be started at a random level with various events and features just like regular players. Not everyone would have ads and not everyone would get all events. Start all players with 100 gold bars, and 50 color bombs and stripe jelly boosters, 10 lollypop boosters, 20 fish boosters, and 1000 coconut wheels. No party boosters and no UFO boosters, they have to earn those. Let them play against the recordings and players that are nowhere near the level they are on. The tournament should last about a month so can enjoy getting stuck for days on a level and other players enjoying features that they will never get. If you include Mick and John, maybe @Carol-38 will even let us know how they are doing.

Good point. I doubt many employees would know how to play Candy Crush themselves, because it's all being run, organised and written by the AI now, so your proposed tournament would highlight this very well @Peaches12 . No one would know how to beat the fake opponents and without UFOs that the gold would soon be gone as well. The feedback is automated and collected by AI too as suggested by Werner. This probably includes a lot of what we write here in the community as well. For example I have noted over the past year that if there is a glitch that makes a specific level unplayable then within a very short while after a few players report it there is an automated response from King and the posts are put in a collection thread. We used to have to tag moderators about such clusters, but now the AI spots them.

As for how many King staff devoted to Candy Crush there actually are….. I wonder how many leaderboards they would fill. Probably not many.

The new levels aren't being played in any King game. Many are likely running on computers—that’s my assumption. King takes feedback from its top games. However, I believe King automatically receives a lot of data from game results. The games "phone home"—like E.T.

Carol, I don't know if you play Candy Jelly. Because there was a post about difficult levels that couldn't be overcome. As more and more players complained and posted pictures, it was improved. Now the game runs better than before.

Of course they don't 😂, that's why every Wednesday we have the New Levels thread. They want those at the top of the map to play and test what's just been released, and give feedback. The problem for them with that is, nobody gives proper feedback anymore. Maybe if they offered some kind of incentive, some might start again, who knows.

You was on your two year break from the Community when we had two Crush videos on blockers. One video was done by Mick the other by John, about a month apart. They were explaining how to manage and get through blockers in two levels. But they didn't actually start the level at the beginning and play to the end. That was either because it would have meant too many boosters and/or gold bars to finish, or because they don't actually play the game, but just wanted to show the blockers

I know it's never going to happen, but what Peaches12 has put, would be an absolute scream to watch, I'd even spend 10 gold bars to watch it 😂

Thank you to Carol, who posted this in "Problem with Vanilla". She also said that we should see this post. I read it now and I think this idea is very good. I've often wondered if the developers play the game before it's released. This applies not only to Candy Crush, but to all games.

There does seem to be a problem for me though, where did you post this. I only knew about it because you tagged me, but I can't find it under Discussions, Support or Candy Corner. It's far too good to be missed, so where is it.
