I've posted about this in the event blog, but my post and question may have gone unnoticed hidden in there.
I have noticed that we can click on all the player cards in all the teams we are up against in Team Clash. Some of these player cards are impossible because they include players who last logged into their games long before King apparently invented Team Clash. I will show a selection here:
My question is: Who are these teams we are pitted against? Are we playing against recordings? Not all teams have these type of impossible players, but there are 3 or 4 in my groups who have several each. So are these fake teams put into our games to make the event more "competitive"? The team in first place has only believable members, but the team in second place, which was leading up for a long time, has several of the fake players including the "leader":
Is this a fake team of recordings put into my leaderboard in order to set the pace? I've been suspecting King place pace-setters into leaderboard events for over a year now. But this particular event, I cannot see any alternative explanation.
Have any of you got any explanation of how these players can show up in Team Clash? 210 days is about seven months. The event was a new introduction this summer, wasn't it? Surely these must be recordings from a test event King ran in January for selected players (possibly in Mexico).
Can it be anything else?
Has anyone got an alternative explanation?
