Alphabetty saga level 645 will not accept 4 letter words to complete the game

Alphabetty saga, I am stuck on level 645, you need 3 and 4 letter words to complete game, words of 4 letters or more only register as 3 letter words so it is impossible to complete the game

I just replayed 645 on Facebook, and I think I understand what the issue is: you need to play 3-letter words and four 8-letter words (not eight 4-letter words). That would explain why the 4-letter ones "do not register".

I make 3 letter words and I routinely lose 20 lives and so I cannot win. What is going on?

The level has 16 Move Stealers, the blue bombs that are around. When they explode they will take two moves from you.
If ten of them explode, it means you will lose 20 moves.
To pass the level, you will need to start with clearing the Move Stealers asap. The number on them shows how many moves you have left before they explode.
