x,/,+,- Multiplication and division are always priority over subtraction and addition.

ex) 2+4x2-10/2-2+2+2=7

Hi. I would like to change my answer from 17 to 7. Thank you to my daughter and @Pummy_Raj for a quick refresher course of Algebra! It has been over 30 years since I took Algebra and I apparently was a little rusty, Haha!

Three-layer chocolate is clearly 3.
Five-layer waffle is clearly 5.
Cake is clearly 8.
Frog is clearly 20.

It looks like the group is assuming that we should take off 1 point for each missing chocolate layer and waffle layer, so I'll go with that.

20 - 8 + 2 + 3 = 17
Final answer: 17

Note: Nobody should be inserting parentheses into the final equation. They are not there in the picture. It appears to be just straightforward addition/subtraction, left to right.

Please disregard my FIRST ANSWER! Looking at your CLUE of Magnifying Glass, I guess, this Challenge is not just about the numbers, it is getting the answer from the objects you presented.

3 x 3 layers of Chocolates = 9
2 x 3 layers Chocolates + 5 layers Waffle = 11
2 x 8 (Value of Each Cake) + 5 layers Waffle = 21
20 (Value of Each Frog) x 3 = 60
20 (Value of Frog) - 8 (Value of Cake) + 2 Layers Chocolate + 3 Layer Waffle = 17

17 is my FINAL ANSWER.
