Remaining moves deduction

I make one move, but my remaining moves drop by two. It is very difficult to pass new levels with this glitch.

Is there anyone who can actually help with this? This website is ridiculously unhelpful and the contact feature just results in an automated message with links to info that won't resolve this issue.

I hadn't realized. The game just indicates you can choose that or one of two other bonuses. Nowhere have I seen mention of that little stipulation. I appreciate your time in clearing that up.

@kfwilson6, that's your problem. When you make a diagonal move, it costs two moves. Problem solved!😀

That seems to be correct. It's the temporary bonus of being able to use diagonal moves.

@kfwilson6, in the top screenshot, is the game suggesting that you move the orange candy diagonally to make a striped candy?

No changes to the device I'm using or anything like that. Below I moved once and went from 20 to 18.
