Bring back the ability to reset the board

The recent change by the studio no longer allows players to reset the board without losing a life. However it also means that any additional booster (CB/Stripe-wrap/fish/check mark) you may have started with will be lost as well as losing a level in your stocking/build a bot and getting a gold crown for finishing the first time. People who have been playing for many years have come to depend on this ability to reset the board. Please vote if you wish the studios to bring back the ability to reset the board.

I know this is a hot issue and has a lot of long time and loyal players upset. I am one of those long time players - over 7+ years and it is one of the reasons I started this thread so that people could vote and voice their opinions and as stated in an earlier post - there is also a pure discussion thread with lots and lots of posts by players on this same topic.
The Community Manager for this game does indeed read the threads and relay the information to the studios. However the final decision is by the studio, not the CM and certainly not the Superstars.

As mentioned above, we are strictly volunteers - players like yourselves, who try and help out in the community in various ways including providing tips on difficult levels, creating helpful videos for various games, helping to create contests where you can win free gold bars and boosters, and participating and sometimes creating discussions. We also act as an interface between the community and the CMs for the various games. We do not have a direct interface with the studio.

That being said, please remember we Superstars are fellow players like you and we honestly are just trying to help. I too do not like this recent change and hope that the studio will make a change and at least let us be able to look at a level before playing it and being able to exit before playing without losing a life and also a level of the Christmas stockings/build a bot.

Not sure if you do understand the frustrations of this community. Lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of comments here and on the other thread that has 72 pages. You can’t tell me that the superstars and cm don’t know what’s going on?????? If they don’t then there are serious problems with the system. You can’t tell me that you just read one comment on a thread and then just throw out that question?
The heading clearly says BRING BACK THE ABILITY TO RESET THE BOARD! With like a HEAP of upticks!
I know you are trying to calm the situation but your not. Thousands of people have given feedback but it doesn’t seem to be getting through. It’s now been 3 weeks and still no answer from the studio!?!

Yes, we all want to enjoy the game but that has been taken away from us.

Not another cent. What’s the point? I have no need to use my boosters at all if it’s just going to be random in a spot I can’t use it anyway.

Lots of angry folks out there, including me, who's losing the most, king I guess, the revenue must have slumped if not completely dry, the ability to reset a board gives an undue advantage but it rubs kings palm with some cash cuz I know maybe an hammer/an hand switch or a color bomb would make a difference at the death if am able to purchase one, even at that you might not be able to complete a level, but there is hope you will get it the next time, but not when you have to reset now knowing that you can't complete this level because of the make up of the board and king has completely wrestled that away from us. It's a shame, undo your terrible fix now.

Seraphic please read through the comments. Look at at the hottest topic on the community boards right now.

There are over 72 pages combined between these two threads alone full of dedicated long term (4 to 7 years) loyal players who are either quitting or about to quit because of exactly this issue, and it is definitely not unclear or mixed messages. Posted in the less than the last 3 weeks.

What I cannot believe is that right on Christmas, and with this very obvious outcry from virtually the entire long term loyal player base built up over nearly 7 years - where almost all of us are saying

"This is a deal breaker, I will now not spend another cent and will end up just deleting the game because it is no longer fun"

They just don't care!
Sad - I think they are running out of time before the platform collapses compared to what is has and still could have been.

I just played my last ever game of cc. Coming up to level 400 and played every day for as long as I can remember. I could tolerate the timed boosters and all the other stuff but I can't deal with not being able to reset the board. There are plenty of other games out there and I am going in search of my new ' go to' game right now! It definitely wont be king either. Not being able to reset the board is a deal breaker for me and I feel its a nail in the coffin for cc. Big mistake. Im out.

Will be taking a break from CCS with the penalty for resetting the board. King already has a pop up that states this is a hard level, buy a booster bundle. Nope, not happening. Don’t be a Grinch King!
