Honestly the UFO has yet to let me downPounawea said:Dear Candy Crushers!
All boosters are cool, but I'm sure we all have our favorite. 🙂
Out of the list below, please vote for your favorite and let us know why so we can understand better the community's favorite and less favorite boosters!
I love the slappy hand, too! It's really helpful that they'll create a special candy for you when you'll move them. I only wish I could use it to move the darn nuts and cherries when they get stuck on a ledge! I've gone through so many moves just trying to get candy in the right spot to switch them, it's maddening, lol. I hoard the UFOs, lol. I've reached they breaking point if I finally decide to use one. They don't often last more than a week in my booster bounty, though!Deryck said:copy/pasted my response from another same thread:
My most used boosters/faves are the hand switch and lollipop hammer. The hand switch is especially useful because it can bring together special candies on the board, manipulate the formation of special candies, or drag ingredients to needed positions in ingredients levels. The hammer can dent cake layers, magic mixers, and other pesky blockers, and in some instances I also use it to the manipulate the formation of special candies - but I find the hand switch better for that purpose. The UFO is great for starting levels to remove any pesky blockers.I only ever had 1 party popper, and since they're so rare I'd prefer to hoard them.I rarely use the other standard boosters to start a level. For certain the fish and coconut wheel are my top 2 least used though, and I'd love to trade them all in to get gold bars.I don't play any other King games so don't have other booster suggestions.
@JethrinaBodina Yep, that's exactly what I meant about using free switch to drag ingredients to necessary positions. I never knew others were unable to do that. Maybe I started playing the game after King incorporated a change to the hand switch. But yeah, the hand switch can ensure a much easier time winning certain ingredient (cherries, chestnuts) levels.
I recall a few levels where the conveyor belt takes a long time to bring the ingredients to the top of the screen. Using hand switch, the ingredients can simply be dragged to the arrow goal(s) right away. Other ingredient levels, you can drag ingredients out of (or into!) stuck zones. In some levels it's advantageous to not have the ingredient reach the goal right away; that way you can rack up points in the meantime.
Timing is everything when using the hand switch. If someone did the above at the start of an ingredient level, they'll win the level but not necessarily get a high score.
Speaking of ingredient levels, a miscellaneous tip for anyone trying to get Sugar Stars for L629: leave at least one ingredient positioned over the frog to prevent the ingredient from going down further. Then stall away. 😎
