Do you have a list of go-to levels for sugar drops that you'd be willing to share? I could kick myself for not using that slappy hand you move those freaking nuts and cherries, but I swear I tried and it didn't work so I never tried again. Maybe I'm just crazy! I do play a lot when insomnia kicks in and my brain isn't at full capacity. (Like it ever IS...ha!)Deryck said:@JethrinaBodina Yep, that's exactly what I meant about using free switch to drag ingredients to necessary positions. I never knew others were unable to do that. Maybe I started playing the game after King incorporated a change to the hand switch. But yeah, the hand switch can ensure a much easier time winning certain ingredient (cherries, chestnuts) levels.
I recall a few levels where the conveyor belt takes a long time to bring the ingredients to the top of the screen. Using hand switch, the ingredients can simply be dragged to the arrow goal(s) right away. Other ingredient levels, you can drag ingredients out of (or into!) stuck zones. In some levels it's advantageous to not have the ingredient reach the goal right away; that way you can rack up points in the meantime.
Timing is everything when using the hand switch. If someone did the above at the start of an ingredient level, they'll win the level but not necessarily get a high score.
Speaking of ingredient levels, a miscellaneous tip for anyone trying to get Sugar Stars for L629: leave at least one ingredient positioned over the frog to prevent the ingredient from going down further. Then stall away. 😎
@JethrinaBodina I recall you mentioned using tablet to play(?). I don't know too many levels playing that version of the sugar drop quest.
Besides being rewarded regular storable boosters, I also prefer playing the sugar drop quest on the king.com version of the game because it doubles the amount of drops collected, making the quest go by much faster (~25 min total). There, I play L1476, L1168 and either L906 or L751, depending on if I need only a couple more to fill up the drops bar. On a few occasions 1476 and 1168 together were enough to completely fill the bar though.
(it's gonna be torture when Flash is discontinued next year)
Back when the Win 10 app version (same as the tablet version) still gave regular boosters, I tried collecting drops there, but it goes much slower without the doubling of the drops (~45 min). And once timed boosters took over, I gave up collecting drops there. The previous levels I mentioned are also good for that though, as well as 281 and 932.
Thanks! I have a Windows 10 laptop, I have only opened the game on it once. It's also a app, so I'm probly stuck, as you say, with less than the Flash version. I don't even know if I can play it that way but I'm show gonna try!Deryck said:@JethrinaBodina I recall you mentioned using tablet to play(?). @JethrinaBodina Yep, that should do it. btw anyone can log in to the Flash version, even you, using the same email account they register with the game. Any boosters won there won't sync to mobile devices unfortunately, but they do sync with all PC versions.
That's also how I amassed so many boosters - I have a Daily Spin wheel on my app and then the Flash version has its own spin wheel that resets at midnight, meaning double the boosters. Even more, logging into your account on different computers yields separate Treat Calendars, so I open the app on PC and on laptop for double the boosters (those do sync as well).
That's cool, nothing to laugh at. I assist my niece and nephew with Pokémon Sword and Shield for the Switch when they visit. I bought 'em the dual pack as an early Christmas gift.
Summer, you are totally missing out by not using fish and the free switch!! I suggest that you read Deryck's post about the switcher... And seriously? No fishes?? They go get the jelly you can't reach and eat those stupid bombs and all kinda is good stuff like that! I LOVE the fish, lolsummer2201 said:"Also, here are other open questions that I'd love to have your feedback:
- Which boosters do you never use?
- Do you understand the different functionalities and the best ways to of all these Boosters?
- Do you prefer boosters in other games and think they'd work well in Candy Crush Saga?
- If you could create a new booster - what would it do?
1. . The boosters I never use are the free switch and the fish.
2. I think I have a pretty good idea what the functionalities are of all the boosters and how to best utilize them.
3. A good booster would be something like a wild booster . Something rare to get ,but when you do you can have the option to clear the stage if you run out of moves. Something along those lines would be neat and very helpful.
