World Map Navigator Changed (For The Worse)

I'm still using Windows 7 and playing the game via Facebook on Firefox. I noticed today that the World Map Navigator changed dramatically, perhaps because it switched from the (soon to be unsupported) Flash version to the HTML 5 version? I find the new layout much harder on the eyes. Previously, the World Map Navigator layout was landscape, with the numbers and overall map larger and easier to see with the Lives/Gold/Messages icons at the top of the screen.

In the new version, the layout is portrait mode and everything is more compressed (zoomed out) and harder to read (looks a bit like a pinball machine now with a lot of wasted space on the sides). Attached is a screenshot of the older (better) layout. Everything else looks the same, just the World Map Navigator layout that has changed from what I can tell. I understand the need to switch to HTML 5, but can the old World Map Navigator layout be kept? It's less motivating to play the game when you don't like the layout...

I have a question for you. I also have Window 7 PC, but the levels end there with 2825. You cannot download an app on Window7. Why do you have this and are much further?

I do not know the answer to that question. Perhaps because I am using Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit? I myself am on level 3678, I just used a screenshot I found that was similar to what my World Map Navigator looked like up until today. Perhaps the map is compressed because Facebook insists on adding that annoying Gameroom window to the right of the game. Here's what my World Map Navigator looks like presently:

OK, this seems to be browser related. In Firefox, the map layout shifted (yesterday) to portrait mode but in Chrome the map layout is in landcape mode (as it should be). Maybe an error/misconfiguration in the responsive layout?

This is my new one and only came in now. I think that's much better. There's more to Facebook than King. I've already read out everywhere. Even adding friends, which is not in KC.

Using the portrait version of the map when desktop screens are in a landscape orientation results in a lot of wasted space on the side of the map, much smaller numbers for the episodes, and an overall disorienting zoomed-out feel as if you're looking at a pinball machine. The only thing it accomplishes is showing 15 episodes on the map at the same time instead of 12 but that's not worth degrading the look and feel of the original map imo.
