Get rid of Timed Sugar Drops/Boosters

The studio appears to doing some testing with timed boosters. First a large group of people lost the ability to get regular boosters from collecting sugar drops and got timed boosters instead. Now it appears that some people are getting timed boosters for the daily calendar and some said they even get some with the daily spin. This poll is specifically aimed at voting to get rid of the timed sugar drops so the game studio can clearly see the votes and opinions of the players.

FYI - the other poll "Keep Sugar Drops" - was created when the game studio took away entirely the ability to collect sugar drops and get boosters from a group of people (who now can collect sugar drops again but in some cases they are now timed).

@Sparkle-2 - The King seems to change parts of CCS for different players. I lost Sugar Drops for 2 weeks, then they returned. My wife gets 60 gold bars when her Piggy gets filled for $2.99. I get 30 bars for $2.99. I have heard some subjects still have regular Sugar Drops while I have Timed Drops. It has totally changed the game for the worst. I stopped playing any new levels for 2 months. Now I play only 1 or 2 new levels daily and lost interest in staying at the top level.

I could hardly believe it. A few days ago I started getting regular Boosters. But my joy was short lived when I realized I now could only get a maximum of 5 Sugar Drops per level. Gone are the days of 1476 giving me 40 or more. To reach 180 I have to play 35 levels. I feel like a lab rat 🐀 getting tested in endless mazes.

@Deryck, I play through Facebook. Chrome is my browser. @Bruce_Bubello, I can still get sugar drops on levels I've played many times. I wonder why you can't? Although there are some levels that just don't give them at all. And now you can only get 5 per game. Really annoying.

@Aheadofmyfriends Thanks for indicating where you're playing. So that kills my theory. You said you're playing in Chrome - the browser? Are you playing on Facebook or King.com?

This isn't just a mobile issue @Pounawea. Some PC users like the above are affected too.

@Joe000. I'm playing with Chrome on my desktop and it's still limiting 5 drops per level. I stopped playing on my phone years ago, because it kept losing my lives.

Yep @Elsa. The events on Win10 app are likewise for me for the past 2 weeks or so now. They don't appear at first anymore, but once any level is played, they magically activate.
It's happened so long I just got used to it, but I see a lot of complaints in the community about people thinking their event disappeared for good when probably they just aren't motivated to play a level with the recent changes (cough cough board reset cough) and thus their event(s) doesn't get activated.
Glad I don't play on mobile as that seems to have the most bugs lately!

In any case that is one glitch (the events not showing up right away anymore in the app) that definitely needs to be addressed @Pounawea

Thanks @Deryck. I am having a lot of trouble iwht Windows 10 and mobile. I got Rami just now on mobile but not on Windows 10. In order for me to get either Didi or Rami I have to play a level first and then they show up. Also I can only play Dexter's Space Race on Windows 10 and it's no longer available on mobile. I asked @Pounawea to check it out. Others might have the same problem if they played on a computer and also mobile.

@Glenn1972 I'm not sure you (and probably others) understand what their complaint is. What they're essentially saying is they're now being capped with how many drops they can collect in a level, and that number is 5 - at least that's how I interpret what's been said.

Before, (and for me) there is no limit to how many drops can be collected in a particular sugar drop level. Usually, I average 30-40 drops in a level.

@Elsa With the Win10 app, it's still the same time for me to collect all 180 drops: 45 minutes to an hour, depending on how focused I am.

I play using MacBook Air, Chrome browser through FB. As of an hour ago when I completed all my drops, i could collect as many as I wanted per level. Hopefully this doesn't change.

And levels are getting harder, with some of them taking many attempts over a few days to clear without resorting to wasting a lot of boosters, which in some cases will not help. On levels where you need to get jelly in far, isolated corners, it relies on a lot of luck or the use of the UFO Booster, which will usually hit the hard to reach areas.

@Joe000 et al. Could everyone who's reported getting 5 drops per level indicate which device they're playing on?
From another thread, I sense this is a mobile-only issue, as the Win 10 app worked as normal when I collected all 180 drops up till yesterday.

Your feedback will confirm my suspicion - or at least give an idea of what the developers should look into.

I'm happy for non-timed boosters is back, but 5 sugardrops per level is total awful!

I feel your pain! I too had best levels for sugar drops mapped out. Too many lives are lost having to play so many levels with only 5 drops each. It's almost not worth it anymore. Takes the fun out of being creative.

I have memorized levels that you can earn the biggest amount of sugar drops if you want the numbers.
