Why cannot buy gold bars . Purchase does not complete

Are you getting an error message?  Or is it freezing?  Please give me more information so that I can direct you further?  Also check to make sure that you weren't billed.

Where are you playing the game?  Computer or mobile?  Faceobook or the Kingdom, king.com?  If it is on king.com there are a few glitches at the moment and the studio is trying to resolve them.
