To answer your question, my dear friend @Pounawea , I'll be getting married in Atlanta in the US in April. I am from Argentina and my fiance is from the US so the process for us to get married legally (because I am not American) and so that I can be a legal resident of the US is long, draining & expensive. We started it in May last year -they had told us it could take up to 18 months to get my K1 Visa- but gladly -and perhaps because we've done everything the US government has asked from us in a timely and orderly manner, it took "only" a little over 9 months. Almost feels like a pregnancy and that my due date is coming! #LoL
