I am having the same prob as andy1101. Did what he did as well.
Just force closed and restarted again. Twice. No change. Lost two lives.
The bug has not been fixed for my iPhone.
Frustrating. It’s not even a hard level!
yep just the bug but a strange one as been fixed twice i know as i conplained about it couple of days back. Got message fixed and went and did level with no problems
When I contacted support I was referred back here.

Since the professionals have already taken care of it, I don't need it. Whatever makes sense, update the game and clear the cache. That you always have all functions and can play properly, without problems. This is important!!

I have updated the game. Version 1.173.1.1
Not familiar with how to clear the cache on an iPhone.
At this stage, as far as I can see, the bug still exists - despite what the professionals have done.
@andy1101 iphone clear cache in google go to chrome> settings>privacy and security>history you will see it here. But if your playing on the candy crush app not through a browser i dont see how this could help. Have you Signed out of candy crush switched phone off , restarted and logged back ito candy crush?

I see you have the updated version of the game app, but did you check if your device is the system latest version?
If the device system is not up to date, App may not work properly.
