When you build the robot
 by losing a life, 
you also lose progress. 
They take everything away 
from you, why is Candy 
Crush saga so complicated?

If you collect stars it will build up a piggy bank which will let you buy it very cheap. I don't know what level you play but if you are one of the first to play the high levels you can sometimes win gold from being the fastest to complete the episode. You can also win these on low episodes if you have already played the levels and start the game again, as you will be faster than last time. If you are on the levels in between, your only option is to buy (or maybe win a contest here - but that won't happen unless you explore other topics here) as all the contestants in the episode race had a huge advantage over you.
