Can’t turn off hints

I have been waiting to turn off hints. My friends all can turn their hints off, and they are on the same phone as i am. I updated the app, didn’t work. Deleted and re-installed the game. Before i logged in using my Facebook ID, I had the option to turn off hints. Great! Then I log in using Facebook to restore my progress, and then I lose the option to turn off hints. It’s gone and the hints are back! I checked my settings in Facebook and they are all current. Please help! Would love to play again, but cannot stands the hints.

Here is my screen where i should buy able to toggle the hints. Played on iPhone x. Thank you!

I guess i don’t understand why it works until i log in with Facebook. My friends log in with Facebook with no problems, so it seemed to be an issue with my log in. Address the test groups completely random? I have been waiting over a year for this option.

Hey @kiddywhompus, this might not be helpful but I know the only time hints turn back on for me is when I accidentally try and play with my WiFi off, then the option disappears. Took me so long to find out why! I play on iPad though so probably different? Good luck though!

Thanks for the suggestion AlWright. I tried it out, both on and off, and still no option to shut it off. I keep hoping!

Hint Switch belongs to the test group so not everyone will have this switch in their game.
