  • I also have never had ads. But their standard response any time a feature disappears is that it was allegedly a test feature. They once told me that as well about something that had always been in the game and then one day they just took away. It's ridiculous.
  • Why do the mods keep spamming this thread with the exact same nonsense that the change is permanent? We get it. We don't like it. Stop repeating the same canned response over and over.
  • They have changed it to look like that. Apparently it is a permanent change across all devices. Not many people are happy about it. I haven't played since they've forced the change.
  • It's an awful change. If I wanted to play on my phone, I would. I like playing on a larger screen, but it looks like I won't be playing at all anymore unless they fix this.
  • This was a ridiculous change that was not needed at all and only makes me play less. Give people the option of using the smaller screen but don't force everyone to use it. That's a great way to lose more players and more money. I probably won't play much if at all anymore.
  • Thank you. And when I mentioned screen shots, I meant that I took a screen shot of the rewards I claimed from the Climb and then another when I entered a level as proof that that I did not get what I was supposed to get. I will contact support.

  • The same thing has happened to me since the Fantastic Five was released. Every week I've been the only one who contributed any points. It's really disappointing. There should be a way to get a new team.
  • I haven't been able to find a buddy for almost a week, either. It just keeps searching.
  • Edit - as of this evening the game seems to be functioning normally again. The only thing that is still affected is the play button screen which is smaller than normal, but I can deal with that! Thanks to whoever fixed this!

  • Hey, Otiscat! Glad to know there are more people with this issue, and I am going to have to disagree with the previous poster. I don't think it's an issue with your tablet, as others have the same problem, Candy Crush is the only thing affected and the issue coincides with the Candy Crush update.

  • It started right around the time of the last Candy Crush update. I'm the only one who uses this tablet, and all my monitor settings are the same as they have always been - I play on a Surface tablet. It's not just me that's having this issue. Someone else said they also have it. Thanks for checking into it.

I can play most levels fine, but if you look at the original post above, you will see that any level that has things that drop down are compressed at the top which covers the top row of candy almost completely making it difficult.
