Why Is Java Not Detected? Is This Causing The Load Problems?

I just installed the newest version of Java. And looked for it on my PC to be sure it is installed. Java is installed. But when I follow the link to check to make sure that everything is set up ok on my computer to play Candy Crush it says it Cannot Detect Java. However, I can play Candy Crush through the games app on Windows 10. What is the problem? Is there some problem with the update to Windows 10? I am in the United States.
