No goldbars even though "awarded" with bubblegum hill.

I played bubblegum hill last night, won the crown, and then played the regular level. When i finished the level I received the notice that I was awarded 14 gold bars.  But no gold bars were added to my account.  I had kept track of how many bars I had when I was awarded the crown because I had noticed that no bars had been awarded for crowns won the previous time the game was available.
