Everyday when I play Soda I get my initial 5 lives. How ever inn the last month or so....

I get lives from friends. In the last month or so... Lives have been disappearing. Sometimes if I have 2 or 3 lives in my mailbox... I can  play them.... If I get 8 or 9 lives... it gives me 5 and takes away the others  "over 5 lives". so I get 5 lives but lose the other 4.   so why get them if i just lose them.......?????? Sometimes if I get 3 lives..... Ot lets me play one and takes away the rest..... NOR FUN IF I CAN'T USE THEM
