Connecting to facebook deleted 5000 gold bars

A couple of weeks ago I decided to connect my account to facebook.  That was a huge mistake as it basically reset my gold bars to 100.  I was at over 5000 of them.  Nothing else was reset, just the gold bars.

I tried disconnecting from facebook, logging out and back in, nothing has worked.  And because gold bars are synced to the account all of my devices have updated the missing gold bars.

I've tried to submit an in game ticket #2887689, but have not heard a response.  My account is the same email that facebook uses to connect here.  PM me if you need it, I don't want to post it publicly.
