Candy Crush Soda crashing on Ipad

I have been playing Soda on my ipad for ages and NEVER had a problem Since last update, the game continually crashes. I was on day 88 of boosters. After searching on here for ways to cure problem, it took me down to Day 1 of boosters which I'm not too bothered about, I just want to play the game. I have deleted other apps to give me more memory, I have shut down Ipad and cleared Safari. This is so frustrating as I can play on my Iphone no problem. Is this a King problem or Ipad problem?
