Progress lost on Nook

I have not seen a solution to my exact problem here.  I am playing CC Soda on my Nook.  This morning when I opened the game, it had been reset to level 1.  I was at level 1013!  My game was never linked to Facebook - I don't even have the game app on FB.  I don't believe I used an email when I downloaded the game either.  I've tried logging in using email, and keep getting an error that the email was not found.  Is there ANY way to get back to my saved game?  This is very upsetting.

If you didn't actively connect your game to either Facebook or Kingdom, your progress will never have been backed up on server. If there's no back up, restoration isn't an option.
