Level reset to 1 after iPad refreshed

My grandmothers candy crush soda saga has reset to level 1 after her iPad was refreshed. She wasn't signed into FB and we have tried to log back in with the email she used to sign up but it says no account is found. She was level 484.

This has happened to me too on Candy Crush Saga. I was on level 512.
