Regarding loss of unlimited lives since last update

I'm on level 1370. Since the last update, which took several attempts to do, my unlimited lives disappear when i switch off my tablet. I wouldn't mind them clocking down whether my tablet is on or off (well I would really) but they don't. They just disappear. I even bought the Easter pack in desperation the other day. But when i switched off briefly, not only were my unlimited lives but also 2 of my 5 remaining lives were also gone. It's really irritating me not to mention it's ruined the game. Please fix this King.
