It seems lots of people have the same problem - level 1027 impossible due to glitch.

Level 1027 impossible to complete due to glitch which has not been fixed. People started asking for help over eight months ago and this level still has no fish spawning from the centre column. Impossible to go further.

Hello Tallulah,

The level has been updated. The centre column does not produce Fish however this does not affect your ability to pass the level. For example, this user has posted a video where he has passed the updated version:
