I can't buy gold bars - I keep getting errors

When I try to buy gold bars in CCSS I either get connection problems or password verification error. It's been like this for about a week or so I think. It's always been a bit of a pain and it usually takes a couple of attempts, but lately I can't purchase anything!  I'm stuck on a level I can't pass without some kind of help (which is unfair of King to be honest as I'm not getting even close to passing the level)
