Why did the playing field turn all pink

I had a few moves to solve level 5 in bubble gum hill when the board turned all pink. I had 1 last match and couldn’t find it because of the pink. 

I would like a do over!

    I am sorry for the delay in a response.

    Are you still having issues with the game?

    It has happened several times since I posted the question - but not in the last 2 weeks as I have not been playing it as much! It was too frustrating to get within a couple of moves and the board and candies all turning pink!
