Not receiving candies won for Bubble Hill

This morning I started to play the collecting candies special event (Bubble Hill). However, when I reached the score 1,670, my score did not change after that. Once I realized my score did not change, I have kept track of the candy that I have won so far. In total, it has come up to about 6,000 candies since then and I am still playing. I have tried restarting the app and also the IPad. Please advise.
