Not able to play w/new version soda saga on Chrome

I play on Chrome 65, fully upgraded, on Win7 desktop computer and since a few days ago the game starts to load normally, to the newer version with bonuses for completing level(s) without losing a life, but reverts to older version without said bonuses. The game loads to new version in FireFox, however, but FireFox is exceedingly slow which is why I do not use it. I have read the recent posts and answers and it appears there is a major chink in the armor, as it were, of the game and lots of folks are having issues as well as you folks reporting glitches everywhere. Just wanted to let you know of this glitch with Chrome 65. Hope you get it all sorted out soon.. it's a good game... shame to see it being affected like this. I have completed all the troubleshooting tips as listed. The only difference is the browser, and nothing has changed for Chrome from the time it was working properly to now. Does not matter if I am playing via Facebook or directly via King.com.

Hi Charles, yes the version was recently updated to html5 but sometimes the game tries to load the wrong version and that's where it goes wrong. 

Have a look at this link, I know you have an updated browser but have you cleared cache etc?
