 can you tell me why I don’t get to skip a level when I’ve completed the star challenge

Can you be more specific regarding the "Star Challenge"? We are not fully understanding what you mean by that, and we need to know in order to give you a better answer!

When it offer you the chance to move to the next  level by completing the required amount you either go 1,2 or 3 stars

Well, I do not care about the stars, but spending money, only that I get to the next level, would be out of the question for me. I want to pass the level correctly and fairly. Otherwise you do not need to play it if you still have to buy the levels. I find feeble-minded.

Sounds like something I saw Candy Crush Friends do when I played it briefly but not in Soda. Sometimes if you earn 3 stars playing a level while on Rainbow Road in Soda you get to start with more boosters. Not  sure if that helps or not!

@LauraLMason is right. The "Star Challenge" that you're talking about doesn't let you skip levels. It moves you up farther in the Rainbow Road. If you had no bow in the Rainbow Road and you got three stars on a level that had the challenge on it, it would move you up three bows in the Rainbow Road, which I believe is the Rainbow Bow.

What you mean, I can not talk to. Since I do not know the whole thing. Not yet. I just saw it differently. How it came over for me. So a completely different track.
