A hearty welcome to all King game players!  Christmas holds a different meaning to one and all.  Some countries have traditional cultures.  Many celebrate it as a religious holiday.  Yet, some might not celebrate it at all.  I created a Christmas story that you might enjoy reading here.

Let’s hear from all of you!  Please let us know whether you celebrate this holiday and how.  My family never celebrated this holiday, but once my children were born we celebrated in our own way.  So, I would love to hear how you and your family celebrated it as you were growing up, or how you and your family celebrate it now.  <3<3

Before closing this message, I would like to offer a link to help you find your way around the community.  Let's learn more about the King community!

Also, please make sure to check out the Contest Area for a chance to win gold bars!   You can check if your game is running any current contests, as well as the community contests (General).

    Hello Elsa!

     You are curious.

    Okay, let's get started!

    On 24.12. is Christmas and in the afternoon I and my little family drink nice coffee. There are galleries and places, with Christmas music and lights. After that, the mess comes in peace unpack gifts. When everyone is satisfied and happy, they play at the table. I have bought so many beautiful games from Amazon.

    On 25.12. & 26.12. Are the holidays. 1 Christmas holiday and 2 Christmas day and there is eaten. Either roast goose or roast duck or roast rabbit with red cabbage and gnocchi. With us there are green Klös. It is a German court. Then sometimes a digestive walk. After that play again at the table with family. My family consists of my sister and nephews. My nephew helps me with the technique. These are the 3 days of Christmas in my family in Germany.

    Thank you Peggy for being #1 in posting and sharing with us.  I truly love and appreciate everything that you wrote.  My family and I also celebrate the same dates at you.  Christmas Eve I spend at my son's house with his family.  Sometimes after dinner we take a drive through the neighborhood to look at the beautiful decorations on the houses.  I always sleep at his house so I am there in the morning when the grandchildren open their gifts.  They are now much older so even though they still rush downstairs to see what's under the tree, they don't shake the boxes as much trying to figure out what they got.  My daughter and her family usually come over and we eat turkey, stuffing - same that we eat on Thanksgiving Day.

    Hello Elsa

     I hope it went well, because I translated it back, which I always do with google chrome and there's a cracking ears.

     It is quite different from what I wrote. Yes, that's the translation.

     One word and many meanings.

    Yes it's perfect!  It has to be hard for you to translate.  Do you speak any English?

    @Elsa

    Some words I know from the English. Only when I insert it, the translated words do not fit. I have to edit it and think of another word that fits. It is not easy.

  • Hi @Elsa and Peggy @Spinnifix 🤗 It's nice to read about your Christmas customs and memories. In my country, we celebrate Christmas on the 7th of January. I am not that much into religion and celebrating now but I remember way back then when we were kids and went to the countryside to have dinner with our grandparents. It was nice to be a kid, although I wouldn't change my years now for anything in the world. I know people who became very nostalgic as they grew old and I am definitely not one of them 😊

Hey! Would you like to give us your opinion?
