Standing at the top of the hill, candies still in hand, her mouth
drops wide open. The candy bears are
trapped in ice cubes. She begins to
throw some of the candy towards the bears to break them free!
Much to her surprise, the candy isn’t breaking the ice. Kimmy doesn’t know what to make of this. She never saw anything like this before. What could have caused it? Who could have caused it? So many questions and too few answers.
She has to call Tiffi to tell her what’s going on. She searches her pockets for her phone but
it’s nowhere to be found. She must have
left it at home.
“I’ll be back,” Kimmy says to the frozen bears. “I forgot my phone at home, and I have to
call my sister for help. I’ll be back as
soon as I can.
Unfortunately, the bears are too frozen to respond.
