Number of moves left inaccurate

For the last 1-2 weeks I've experienced that the number of moves left has gone to zero, but there are still an unknown number of moves left. It happens on both my phones (Huawei p8 lite and Motorola One Vision). Happens both with new levels and with old and in Bubblegum Hill, but only sometimes. Not easy to plan how to play, when you don't know how many moves are left.
