Why can’t I join a soda squad?

My sister made a team and sent me a link, but when I click on the link, nothing happens. When I open the soda app I can’t search for team ids either. How can I fix this? My candy crush ID is 9713442187.

If we are already belong to a team, then we cannot join another team. I am thinking that could be the reason for you to not able to to join your sister's team!
Can you make sure of that and let me know if that is case or not?
In the mean time, I will get back to you with more info on "how to join a team".

Mr.Toffee's Fair team and the Soda Squad team are completely different.
Can you please do me a favor and show me the screenshots of what happens when you click on the link your sister sent?
It would be very helpful if you can share the screenshots of various steps --
1) The invite you received from your sister;
2) What happens when you click on that request;
3) Also, a screenshot of your current Soda Squad team; etc.,

@PummyRaj you didn’t confuse me! Here are screenshots of the link. Once I click on the link, it takes me to the soda app, but no teams show up🤷🏻♀️

You are the one at level # 406, right? The Panda?
So, it means you are logged into the game through Kingdom account. And your sister invite shows / asks you to join through Facebook.
It means, you will have to log in through your Facebook account. Then I think the Soda Team appears for you!
Can you try that and let me know please?

@PummyRaj I deactivated my Facebook account like 6 months ago. I’ll try logging back in. I’ll let you know if it works!

@PummyRaj yes, I was able to log into my Facebook account. My sister doesn’t have a Facebook. She saves her progress through king.
