Are you asking about the messages where you see "Help, I need a life"? And when we send a life, they reply as "Thanks"?
If those are the comments you are talking about -- your Team-mates are not writing them. But, it is the system itself that generates those messages.
And if you would like to request for a life, you just have to click on the + mark at the "Heart". Then you will see the option of requesting lives either to your "Soda Teammates" OR your Facebook / Kingdom friends.
If you are seeing something that is entirely different, please do post a screenshot like my friend @Sukanta_Biswas suggested above.
