Arrows and Heart with play on offer

I understand the heart as free time. But what is the benefit of the arrows? Today they keep increasing in number after every play. But I’m not sure they are worth the gold bars. See photo. They are next to the unlimited time heart. Thanks!

The arrows add more turns when purchasing turns with the gold bars. For example, if you have 11 arrows and purchase 10 gold bars, you will have 11 turns added on top of your turns rather than 5. Most helpful if near finishing a level!
