Before we look at the type of levels, let's also look at the Level Indicator!
⚠️ Level Difficulty Indicators
Some levels are tougher than others, so icons and borders warn you in advance:
🟧 Hard Levels: Marked with an orange border.
🟥 Super Hard Levels: Marked with a red border.
⬛ Ultra Hard Levels: Marked with a dark red border & skull icon.
Now for the level types, each level in Soda has a unique goal! Here’s a quick breakdown of all the different types:
❄️ Frosting Levels (Find the Bears)
- Bears are hidden under layers of ice.
- Clear the frosting by making matches next to it or using special candies.
🍓 Jam Levels (Spread the Jam)
- Cover the board in jam by matching candies on jam-covered tiles.
- Special candies help spread the jam faster!
🍯 Honey Levels (Save the Bears)
- Bears are trapped under honey.
- Clear the honey layer by layer with matches or special candies.
💭 Bubble Levels (Get the Bear Above the Candy String) Bubble Levels (Get the Bear Above the Candy String)
- Bears are inside bubbles that float upward when you raise the soda level.
- Pop bottles to fill the board with soda and move the bears up!
🥤 Soda Levels (Pop the Bottles)
- Pop a certain number of soda bottles to raise the soda level.
- Match candies or use special candies to break the bottles.
🍫 Chocolate Levels (Clear All Chocolate)
- Remove all chocolate before it spreads!
- Both brown (one layer) and white (two layers) chocolate grow every turn if not cleared.
💗 Bubblegum Levels (Chew All the Bubblegum)
- Bubblegum covers candies but doesn’t fully block them.
- Match on top of bubblegum to remove it before it spreads!
🛤️ Sweet Escape (Guide the bear)
- Guide the bear to the exit! The path is hidden under candies and blockers.
- Match candies and clear the way to uncover the correct route.
- Available from level 13,000+ as a new, regular game mode
