Why is the format for Candy Crush Soda Saga changed

I opened the game to play yesterday and noticed there was no Bubblegum Hill (again). There were also changes to the way the game is played with something called Mr. Toffee's Fair. The Quest part of the game is not there any more so you can't earn boosters while playing the game. I am hoping this is temporary and the Quests will return. I don't like Mr. Toffee's Fair because you only get to play it twice in a day and you have to wait for others to play it in order to get 15 minutes of a booster! This is making the game not as fun as it used to be, especially with no more Bubblegum Hill. Will you be bringing back the Quests???

Hello @rock_111 CCSS is evolving! Yes there are a lot of changes of lately, be it with BGH or old quest not being available for a majority of players or be the the map change with 3d weird looking characters or the rainbow streak falling all at once if we lose a level. We'l get used to it one day. As they say "the studio is listening" 😂😂

Now coming to if BGH will be back 😂 players haven't had it for months so u have to be really really lucky for it to show in your game. And if old quest will be back for u, i doubt that as well. You'l have to get used to the new features now 😏

Wow rock, you must have not played this game for a long time. The stuff you mentioned are more than 6 months ago (at least). I also wish the original quests and BGH make a come back.

I actually play the game every day. I play on my iphone. The change I mentioned just happened 2 days ago.

Well - if any of the programmers are looking at this, I hope they take note that a long-time player is about to be a no time player due to the changes!!

You have to keep your game updated to get the new features. The quest feature which you mentioned is the older one it has been replaced by Mr. Toffee's Fair. The BGH keeps coming and going in my game too, the studio is still looking into it.

Question for you: Do you have Kimmy's arcade in your game?

@rock_111 I think Anahita is on the right track. maybe your game hadn't been updated for a long time. and somehow it was updated recently that is why you are seeing all these changes to the game. (i'm just guessing)

you are right this new and improved version is suck. i've been complaining about it a lot.

There is nothing to investigate, Mr. Toffe's fair has not replaced anything, and I am sure that @rock_111 does keep his game updated.

In both CCSS and the other King games, there are many events and features (for example the BGH) that are test functions, released by the Studio to groups of random players, so they are not always available to everyone and not at the same time. That means that some see their game one way and others another. Sometimes there is BGH for me and sometimes for you, other times it is for someone else 🤷 and the same is true for all other features and events.

You just have to be patient and pray that it touches us again.
