New event - Frosty Festival

I've read a lot of players wanting a "Holiday event" to match the season. And for once i got an event i've not read about anywhere - The Frosty Festival!

Basically this new feature is a combination of two old features - The Rebuild candy town (since tasks are similar to them) & The Noble\ Royal path (rewards are similar- or less in comparison if i may say).

The points for each task is way too low. I think only the very dedicated players could get past this.

So who else got this event? Do you like it??

@Marriam1 I have the event too. Somewhere I had read that winter is coming in Soda and there will be an event with rewards. I think it's this event.

That's why I haven't played any new levels the last two weeks. Whenever I was at the end of the map, I either didn't have an event or I couldn't do the tasks because I had too few new levels.

At first glance, I noticed that maybe not so many new levels are needed, but I'll see how it will be in the next few days.

I am happy to finally have something new in soda.

I'd like to think that "TIP: you can skip quests that you can't complete" is my own doing 🤣🤣

I suggested that for Building Candy town. I also suggested to beat a past score. I'm moved 😲

Points for canes depend on the difficulty of the tasks I believe

I completed 3 quests while completing Mr Toffee fair tasks and points were higher. I see the Christmas event has some diversity in the type of quests .

Rewards are similar to Noble Path but you've more to do to achieve them. I didn't see a booster that wasn't timed and I didn't see gold bars... I'm not so convinced to complete it which is great because I don't have the time 🤣🤣

Edit: Tbh I don't like that "do XX then win the level" because if you fail the level then you fail the quest. the task just so happens to be difficult to create without boosters and the feature even expects you to pass the level. Right. I'm not a big fan.😅

At least candies quests can be completed on old levels. That didn't change thankfully.

Hey @Yosca since you had Rebuild Candy town i can tell u the tasks are similar to it 😂except this time we skip a task (like completing the episode race) if we want. I hope u get the feature 😊
