I am using a standard PC with an updated Windows 7 and updated Firefox browser.

Although you might be right, I don't think a simple puzzle game like this should require the latest version of Windows 10.

And, since i hate Windows 10 passionately for its privacy and forced update issues, I am not willing to change platforms just for the sake of playing Candy Crush :-) I think a game like this should be able to run smoothly on even Windows XP.

So if you are indeed right, I am stuck with playing a broken game, or not playing at all, which may save me some extra time...
