Why do I have to pay real money in the Frosty Festival?
Why do I have to pay real money instead of gold bars for premium rewards? BWS3’s Royal Pass, you can buy premium rewards for 50 gold bars.

It's probably due to the fact you buy gold bars too along with other boosters, in this case.
Previously there was a version of soda's royal path similar to BW3's and you could spend gold bars to unlock premium boosters. Now the newest version requires money like Frosty Festival case. It would seem the studio has opted for a more direct way to monetize and support the game, but I'll pass on your feedback, thank you 😃
