Why can’t I get sometime my husband has in his candy crush game?

Ok so I added candy crush soda my husband added it a few weeks or a month after I did he is able to join a team of people (forget their team name) where they get to do different challenges while playing candy crush soda and win different prizes . I am able to add friends but not able to join a team and do the same stuff he has on the app we both had iPhones at this time added it our iPhones he just recently changed back to android and he still has the feature I have deleted and reinstalled the game and nothing I’m so confused on why I can’t get it someone please help!
