Game freezing after every move

I know why this is happening, it's because of Icy Season. Whenever a quest is to collect a certain color, it will freeze after every move to "count" the broken color. But, I finished with Noble Path, although there was a quest not completed to collect purple candies. Which means any level I play until Icy Season is over for good, the level will do this if there are purple candies. And it is beyond annoying to have it freeze after every move and makes winning the level harder. I want to upgrade my rewards in Icy Season before it's over (and for Christmas), but not if this is going to continue through the next 10 days. Getting extra hours isn't worth it if this is how the game is going to play. How can I fix it?

Actually it's because of Icy Season, my mistake. Anyway, I've shut down my pc several times since I finished Icy Season days ago, that has had no effect on it. But, thanks.

I'm not sure I understand how your game crashes. You say you finished Icy Season days ago and you're still seeing unfinished quests inside Icy Season feature? Or do you mean that you see the quests pop-up message after completing a level and that causes the crash? Any screenshot would be helpful if you can.
