Inviting friends on the app

Hi there!

I’m trying to to add a friend on the app by sending the link however, when he clicks on the link it just takes him on the appstore and then nothing happens!

p.s he’s already downloaded the app and connect on Facebook..

Please help!

Which devices do you and your friend use?

Recently I've reported this problem to community manager to see if the develepers can find a solution soon. I don't have an update to report back but I'll forward your complaint as well 👍️

Which devices do you and your friend use? (make and model please).

I've a new question, which browser app do you and your friend use to browser the internet, please?

I experience the same problem as you when I browse the internet using Samsung Internet app.

However, if I use Chrome app to browse the internet and I tap on the link to open it, Candy Crush Soda app is the first choice to open the link. Soda app is then able to display the friend invite

We both use Safari as we both own IPhone.

Mine’s Iphone 13 Pro Max and my friend’s is IPhone SE.

We’ll try chrome out too and hopefully it’ll work bit let me know if you find any other solutions or when your complaint gets answered pleaaase!

I will. I know the issue is currently under investigation, I shared your game details with community manager. but for now I don't have news 🙂

Were you able to open the link with Soda app on Chrome browser then?

Thank you for sharing my case with the community manager hopefully we’ll get a helpful answer soon!

We’ve tried the browser solution but unfortunately it didn’t work😕

I’m also facing the issue with being unable to receive the lives my friends are sending me and this just sucks!

I know that the issue with the lives is also under investigation and hopefully they solve it soon since it’s very frustrating!
