⚠️ Ongoing issue: Bake a Cake - the game freezes after I collect my prize
We're currently having an issue with Bake a Cake where the game freezes when you try to collect your reward. The Soda game studio is hard at work trying to solve this, so please check this discussion for any updates around the issue.
Since we're seeing a lot of different discussions about this, I have decided to merge them all here so that we can easier keep track of your reports - and you can see any updates we post.

So has Bake a Cake changed also so that only "some" players have it? You can't accumulate points with the treasure chest anymore and now although I can see the bakery event is open it's not really active for me even if I try to change to another team.

Why can’t I claim price when I baked a slice of cake?????

I can access the cake but not the completed levels/ rewards. ie I have to bake slices to get the rewards, rather than being able to access the ones my team has done.

I am having the same problem. In the chat I could see that a team member had baked a piece of cake, but my cake is still at 0%. I then baked a piece, my cake is still at 0% and I get this notification:
Hopefully there will be a fix soon.

Keeps telling me my internet is down, but it’s not and I can’t play the cake bake. I can play the normal games.

I have recently baked a piece of cake. It says that there is a problem connecting and are working on it..It has been a couple hours and still not working. I can not move ahead to bake another piece of cake. I am online and the main part of the game is working. I want to get the credits for the levels completed which I am sure , by now, are being completed The whole cake may be done, but I can’t get to it or the prized for completed levels! Very frustrating

Same problem . I bake a piece of cake , probably using valuable boosters in the process , then don’t get credited with the completion but instead the sign saying the connection is broken and we are working to fix it . I am playing on chrome / iPhone 11 Pro Max . If you know it isn’t working it would be awfully nice if you would fix it, or at minimum, inform about the problem before wasting a booster. Seems to me that Candy Crush is really on a downward spiral . Are your support team volunteers? Hope so , because they are not earning any kind of salary!

Same "Connection Issue" message for me after baking a slice. Neither restarting game, nor restarting Windows fixes it. Can't even open the cake feature -- just get that message. Doesn't seem a "connection" problem as other parts of the game work. In my case, there is no Chat message about the slice I baked.
