How do I choose the culprit after my game crashed?

I unlocked and claimed the reward Which gave me a magnifying glass to choose the culprit. My game crashed before I was able to select the culprit. I reopened the game and found that I can no longer select the culprit since I cannot claim that reward again. Is there a fix or does it even matter if I choose or not?

sorry to hear that. If the game crashed and reward appears to be already claimed then it cannot be undone. I'd say your map should be revealing who's the culprit by itself at this point.

check for app updates and try restarting the app + passing any level 2-3 times to make the map reconnect and load all its parts

but do I miss out on any rewards if I didn’t select the bat? Or is this just like a fun thing and everyone will get the same rewards regardless?
