On the events section it says "Back soon" but in the group chat I keep getting messages saying a layer has been baked and there are prizes to be collected. Why can't I help bake or collect prizes? I haven't had this problem before. Any ideas?

Hi everyone!
We understand your frustration with Bake A Cake not being available and have shared the feedback with the studio making Candy Crush Soda Saga.
At the moment, most Soda features is not available to all players at all times. With so many fun features in the game, we sometimes have to spread out the fun a bit. This means it's not an error if you have different features available in your game from your friends game for example. It's likely at times you will have things your friends don't have and vice versa. I understand this can be annoying though, and have provided the feedback to the studio.
But don't worry, Bake A Cake will be back in your game in the future! ๐

Iโm not able to bake cakes with my team because they donโt load. It says coming soon, but I never get one anymore. I can see the chat so I know my teammates are playing. They told me to reboot so Iโll try that, but Soda also sent me back to Day one on my progress 4 days ago for no reason. I did not miss a day. Please help!

Well you're lucky you received something. I haven't received anything, it's still the same, and I don't have any of the other events plus no one can read my messages in the chat either, I don't get lives when I ask...my game is just full of bugs

We heard from the Community Manager there is currently an issue with Bake a Cake and the Game Studio is looking into it. We donโt have an update yet.

I'm having an issue with the bakery. It says there is a connection issue and they are working on it. This happened before a few months ago and it was back up in a couple days. Its been like 4 days now. Can anyone tell me how much longer it will be?

I can see team comments and it's saying bakery back open but when I click on it says opening soon?! How can I fix that?
I have also been unable to access the bakery on my Kindle Fire. I am able to access it on my PC and Android phone. I really hope you can fix it soon. I'm letting my team down.๐
I can't play in the bakery, it says there are connection issues. It has been this way for several days. I am able to play the regular game.

This app is going downhill lately. The bakery, the yellow candy challenge and sometimes I think they charge me and I never bought anything.

That's what mine looks like. Instead of the graphic for bakery opening to a new game, it just looks like that.
Have the same issue here some possible reasons i have came across,
1) they moved the day the bakery opens as i have seen before it used to open on mondays then it got moved to wednesday then to fridays were it has been for over a year.
2) or it is just messed up with some sort of tecnical issues which i hope will be sorted asap

We heard that the studio has fixed that some players couldn't open the Bake a Cake event as they saw "coming soon".
I now see "bakery opens soon" so I'm hoping the event will start later.

Along with the other changes, there is no cake build today. Game is starting to suck big time.
For 3 weeks no Bake a cake loaded and finally last weekend after much complaining there it appeared. I was so excited that I made extra purchases from the shop just to feel I was progressing again in the game.
To my utter disappointment no bake a cake again today and no pop message received either. The struggle is real people, why must you frustrate us this much. All we want to do is play!!!!!!!

However, right now I donโt have Bake a Cake either (and many others) so I think the Studio has postponed the event.

Whenever I get rewards they automatically go onto the next game and get used very quickly. I do not want to use them all the time or all together. This seems to be a recent change. If I've paid for rewards and play 5 games they have gone straight away!
