Why are my boosters locked?

All of a sudden my boosters are locked and I cannot access them. Why am I being denied something that I have either payed for or earned?

It seems it was temporary while introducing a new aspect. I would recommend giving the player a warning in the future.

When pre-boosters are locked it means they're not required to pass that particular level. that's intended because the game wants to show an element of the level
