I am sorry to hear you have this issue. The game prefer a strong, steady signal, so if there is a brief interruption or drop in the signal, the game can think you are off line. Also make sure you have at least 2GB free memory storage to run the game smoothly and try to connect to a WiFi connection instead of using cellular data.
Make sure you have a good, strong and steady connection, then turn off your device for at least 10-15 seconds. Restart your device, make sure you have a good internet signal and then play/replay a level. After that, you can try if you can use your gold bars.
